Badge Requirements

• Learn what Y-seams are and where they commonly appear in quilt designs.
• Practice sewing Y-seams using scrap fabric or test blocks.
• Successfully complete at least one quilt block that includes Y-seams.
• Focus on accurate seam intersections and smooth joins.
• Reflect on what techniques helped make Y-seams easier to manage.

Badge Options

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered patch consists of high-quality embroidery on a twill backing. The patch measures 2″ x 2″. The patch has a Pellon interfacing on the back to cover embroidery threads and is intended to be sewn-on. It is not an iron-on patch.

Vinyl Sticker

The sticker is a thick and durable vinyl that is weatherproof and waterproof. Vinyl sticker measures 2″ x 2″.
