About the Badge

The Quilts of Valor Badge recognizes the generosity and artistry of quilters who contribute to the Quilts of Valor Foundation. This badge celebrates the creation of quilts to honor and comfort service members and veterans who have served our country, providing a tangible expression of gratitude and support.

Badge Requirements

• Create a quilt that meets the guidelines set by the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
• Ensure your quilt meets the organization’s requirements.
• Record the details of the quilt and the recipient in your badge logbook
• Write a brief note about what this project meant to you and why contributing to this cause was important.

Badge Options

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered patch consists of high-quality embroidery on a twill backing. The patch measures 2″ x 2″. The patch has a Pellon interfacing on the back to cover embroidery threads and is intended to be sewn-on. It is not an iron-on patch.

Vinyl Sticker

The sticker is a thick and durable vinyl that is weatherproof and waterproof. Vinyl sticker measures 2″ x 2″.
