The Quilting Podcast Badge encourages scouts to engage with the broader quilting community through the medium of podcasts. This badge aims to enhance their understanding of quilting culture, history, techniques, and trends by listening to experienced quilters and industry experts share their insights and stories.

Badge Requirements

• Research and compile a list of at least five quilting-related podcasts.
• Listen to a minimum of ten podcast episodes, ensuring that at least three different quilting topics are covered.
• Write brief summaries for each episode.
• Reflect on how digital media like podcasts can enhance a quilter’s knowledge and community engagement.
• Bonus: Recommend at least one episode to other members of the troop.

Badge Options

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered patch consists of high-quality embroidery on a twill backing. The patch measures 2″ x 2″. The patch has a Pellon interfacing on the back to cover embroidery threads and is intended to be sewn-on. It is not an iron-on patch.

Vinyl Sticker

The sticker is a thick and durable vinyl that is weatherproof and waterproof. Vinyl sticker measures 2″ x 2″.
