Whether it’s a virtual retreat, a weekend getaway, or a day-long sew-in with friends, this badge is all about community, creativity, and connection.

Badge Requirements

• Attend a quilt retreat—this can be an in-person event or a virtual gathering hosted through Quilt Scouts or another group.
• Bring a quilting project to work on during the retreat. Bonus points for finishing it during the event!
• Participate in at least one retreat activity—this could be a group challenge, show & tell, game, or mini workshop.
• Reflect on what made the retreat memorable and any skills or connections you gained.
• Bonus: Share a retreat tip or favorite packing item in the Quilt Scouts community forum.

Badge Options

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered patch consists of high-quality embroidery on a twill backing. The patch measures 2″ x 2″. The patch has a Pellon interfacing on the back to cover embroidery threads and is intended to be sewn-on. It is not an iron-on patch.

Vinyl Sticker

The sticker is a thick and durable vinyl that is weatherproof and waterproof. Vinyl sticker measures 2″ x 2″.
