About the Badge

The Deck the Halls 2024 Badge celebrates the festive spirit of the holiday season by encouraging Scouts to create quilted decorations that bring warmth and joy to their homes. This badge inspires creativity as Scouts design and sew holiday-themed projects such as stockings, tree skirts, advent calendars, or other festive quilted items.

Badge Requirements

• Design and sew at least one holiday-themed quilted item. Use festive colors, fabrics, or patterns that reflect your personal style or holiday traditions.
  
• Display your finished project as part of your holiday décor.
• Take photos of your completed project and share them with the Quilt Scouts community. Include a short description of the inspiration behind your project and any special techniques you use
• Bonus: Make multiple holiday projects or create a set, such as matching stockings for your family or coordinating tree decoration.

Badge Options

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered patch consists of high-quality embroidery on a twill backing. The patch measures 2″ x 2″. The patch has a Pellon interfacing on the back to cover embroidery threads and is intended to be sewn-on. It is not an iron-on patch.

Vinyl Sticker

The sticker is a thick and durable vinyl that is weatherproof and waterproof. Vinyl sticker measures 2″ x 2″.
