About the Badge

The Creature Comforts Badge celebrates the special bond between quilters and their animal companions. This badge recognizes quilted projects made for pets or the experience of quilting alongside them, highlighting the cozy and meaningful role pets play in many quilting spaces.

Badge Requirements

• Create a quilted item for a pet. Examples include a quilted mat, bed, toy, or wearable item such as a bandana.
• OR document a quilting experience shared with a pet through photographs or a written reflection in your badge logbook.
• Add a personal touch to your project, such as pet-themed fabric, embroidery, or custom sizing.
• Bonus: Share your project or story with the Quilt Scouts community to encourage others to sew for or with their pets.

Badge Options

Embroidered Patch

The embroidered patch consists of high-quality embroidery on a twill backing. The patch measures 2″ x 2″. The patch has a Pellon interfacing on the back to cover embroidery threads and is intended to be sewn-on. It is not an iron-on patch.

Vinyl Sticker

The sticker is a thick and durable vinyl that is weatherproof and waterproof. Vinyl sticker measures 2″ x 2″.
